Uniform Heating of the Sample
In contrast to traditional thermogravimetric moisture analyzers, where the sample is exposed to direct heat, the PMV 50 Moisture Analyzer, heats the whole sample’s volume. A special glass fiber filter is employed.
The PMV 50 microwave moisture analyzer is equipped with a temperature sensor which allows it to monitor the power level.
This prevents it from exceeding the boiling point during the process. A preset microwave power level is displayed on the indicator throughout the drying procedure.
